Hello! My name is Taylor Bodnar and I am the proud owner of Simply Blissful Events + Planning. I found my love for wedding planning and coordinating after marrying my high school sweetheart of over T E N years in August of 2023. About two weeks after the most perfect day, I decided to pursue my passion and dive headfirst into the wedding industry.
As a former bride, I know planning a wedding can be overwhelming- but it doesn't have to be! My packages cover everything from the largest tasks to the tiniest details. Let me take care of it all, from securing reputable vendors and organizing your decor, to setting up your event and maintaining your timeline. Since opening my business, I have had the pleasure of working with brides and their partners to bring their visions to life, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. I fully understand that each individual and couple has their own distinct desires and requirements, and therefore, adaptability is crucial. As a result, I have created a range of packages, as well as an à la carte menu, to ensure that every need is met.
*All packages include travel up to 50 miles from Muskegon, MI. Additional travel will be charged at a rate of $1/mile

What does a wedding coordinator do?I prioritize making your special day as seamless and enjoyable as possible. My comprehensive wedding planning services cover everything from the largest tasks to the tiniest details. I will work closely with you to develop a personalized plan that ensures a flawless wedding day. My services include researching and suggesting reputable vendors, greeting and directing vendors to their designated spots, last-minute decorating touches, queuing the DJ for music and announcements, and coordinating the wedding party for pictures and key moments. Allow yourself to feel like a guest, and trust that all the hard preparation work is managed expertly, allowing you to relax and cherish your big day.

Can you replace any vendors?As much as I would love to be a one-stop-shop, I simply am not. I can absolutely assist other vendors, such as the DJ, by coordinating their setup, schedule, and requirements to align perfectly with your wedding itinerary. However, I do not step in to BE the DJ or provide specific vendor services myself. My primary role is to manage all the details and logistics, facilitating a smooth interaction between you and the high-quality vendors I help you select, ensuring every aspect of your wedding day is cohesive and stress-free.

How do I secure you as my wedding coordinator?First of all, thank you so much for considering me to assist with your special day! If you feel like we would be a good fit, the first step is to arrange a virtual meeting with one another. This will allow us to gather a little more information, and address any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. From there, I will send over a contract via DocuSign. You and your fiancé will need to review and sign the contract, and after both of you have signed, I will also sign it. Once all parties have signed, everyone will receive a copy of the completed contract. For your convenience, I accept payments via Venmo, or cash if you are local. Once the contract is signed and the initial payment is made, we can begin planning your beautiful wedding!

Do I need to pay the full amount upfront when booking your wedding planning services?Most of my packages require only a deposit at the time of booking to secure services for your special day. The remainder of the balance will not be due until two weeks prior to the event. This allows you to manage your budget more effectively while ensuring that all details of your wedding planning are professionally handled.

Is there a penalty if I pay the full package amount up front?Absolutely not! You are welcome to pay the full package amount at any time, however, it is not required. I completely understand how expensive weddings can be, and strive to offer flexible payment options to accommodate all clients' needs. My goal is to ensure you can focus on enjoying the wedding planning process without the added stress of financial constraints.

Do you offer a payment plan for wedding planning services?How you'd like to structure your payments are entirely up to you! I understand that planning a wedding can be a significant financial investment, and my goal is to make it as manageable as possible. Most of my packages require a deposit at the time of booking, which secures services for your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding day. This is designed to allow you to enjoy the process without financial stress. However, you can make additional payments at any time. If you have a week that you'd like to put $50 towards your balance, you can certainly do so. I will always text or email you with an update that I have received your next installment, as well as an updated remaining balance.
